WE ARE PROUD GODPARENTS...

Pictures of Mason's baptism. Unfortunately, I had an incident with my camera this day which was at the beginning of my visit. I usually take a ton of pictures when I go home so this was quite dissapointing. Luckily I was able to use some of Melissa's and my mom's pictures to add to the blog. Once I get my lens fixed I'll be back in action. We have been very fortunate this summer to squeeze in two good trips home. We did miss the Ginter's this time around. They were traveling the European seas drinking wine and eating cheese atop a cruiseship (how nice!). Maddie had a great overnight with Ba and Sonny and thoroughly enjoyed her ride on the riding mower, and made sure to bring home more (fishing lure) worms. My dad took us to the Auburn water park and we all had a wonderful time. We didn't get to captrue any of it on film but we will surely remember how much fun we had. Maddie had her first time down a real water slide. I don't know who was more scared...her, me for her, or me for me! I haven't done that since high school. Well now we will be a few hours closer, we hope to make it home more often. We look forward to frequent visits from our family and friends as well!

GOOD THING WE WENT TO CHURCH!

Surely God has a sense of humor! On the day of poor Mason's baptism he just couldn't take all the excitement. Pictured below are the culprits. It does make for a great picture though. Papa wanted to take the kids to Idle Hour park to let the kids get out some energy. It had been a day and we all enjoyed gettting out for a bit. Also, pictures of Maddie hanging with the Kempffer boys on the trampoline.

Sorry, here is Giggles!

West Palm Beach

HOUSE HUNTING IN WEST PALM BEACH, FL

Just a few pictures to give you an idea of our time in Florida looking for houses. We did actually look for houses contrary to the vacation-like photos. We had to bribe Maddie with pool time to get her to be patient with us while we looked at houses. The woman in the tie dye is "Giggles" she was the hotel entertainment one day. She coordinated the kids to do a tug of war, ice cream eating contest, and water balloon toss among other games. Maddie didn't realize it was acutally a competition but she still came in 2nd place and it was pretty close. A little girl at the end of the table cheered Maddie on. She just knew Maddie was going to win. Then a storm came and poor Giggles was left all alone. We walked along the beach one morning and realized it is Sea turtle season. You could see where the mother turtle dragged herself up the beach and laid her eggs.
