1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious--anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Happy Mother's Day!
A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts. ~Washington Irving
I am so not wanting to be sappy on Mother's Day but I felt like I should do some kind of tribute to sweet Kathy. I could honestly write for days about what a great person/role model/ nurse/ teacher/chef/seamstress etc... she is but I think you get the point. When I am having "a day" with Maddie I often wonder how in the world my mom did it with 3 of us and a full time job and my dad. It is so sad the we don't realize this until we are much older. My mom would do anything for her kids and her family and seldom asks for anything in return. I hope that she knows how much I love and appreciate her today and always. I love you mom!!!!

HOME SWEET HOME!
Wow it has been way too long. For anyone that cares the Ginters have had A LOT going on. While we were home for Christmas, Matt interviewed for a job with AFLAC. We were not actively seeking anything outside of his company but he was just looking on the internet and there it was. He figured it was worth a shot and since we were going to be home for Christmas, might as well. Well Christmas came and went, he had his first interview then the second after New Year's, he was offered the job and within about a month and a half we sold our house and moved back to Columbus. Matt's parents graciously let us stay with them and before we knew it we were buying a house of our own. We really didn't even feel right telling anyone until almost a week after we actually closed on our house. Only our immediate family knew about it simply because everything fell together too easily. We were just waiting for something to not work out or go wrong or something...but it never did. We always wanted to get closer to home. It didn't necessarily have to even be Columbus just close enough for a weekend visit. It has taken me so long to update this because I kept telling myself "I wanna make sure" before EVERYBODY knows. Even now that we are unpacked and slowly making our house our own it still feels like we are here on a holiday break. "Why?" you may ask yourself. For us the answer was sooo easy. Matt and I laughed as we spent our last day in West Palm Beach, we talked about how crazy it was that we spent the better part of High School and College wanting to get away from Columbus and now we take a huge leap of faith to get back. Our time away wasn't horrible we got to see some great places and meet some really cool people that will always be in our memories. Ultimately though, we decided for Maddie and for us that the best place for us was near our family and friends. We have been without that kind of support system for 4 years now and I can't stress how nice it is to be minutes away from them. Maddie is truly a much happier child. She has her friends, cousins, and grandparents and there is nothing more important to us than that. We really appreciate things so much more now. Well that about does it for the big news in our lives. Now that I have broken the ice again I plan to update our blog with our Spring Break trip to Disney World this weekend complete with pictures.
